There was the day I drove the entire length of Carmel Valley Road...
and stopped at the Wild Goose Cafe...
and proceeded to the Earthbound Farms Farm Stand...
which has extensive gardens behind it...
and then proceeded to the Carmel Mission, which is impressive...
...and finally, the coast.
