dining adventures

Sometimes a decent midday meal can be found at La Plaza Bakery & Cafe in Greenfield, which I have always liked for its architecture....
Inside, Mexican pastries explained...
In the courtyard, with cactus and carrot smoothies from the gym next door...
Meanwhile, a delicious dinner was found at Guadalajara Restaurant in King City in the form of Camerones de Guadalajara (shrimp in a special sauce).
Further afield, a wide spectrum of interesting appetizers were tried at the Montrio Bistro in Monterey one evening before viewing the film "Tree of Life" at the Osio Cinema. The sheer variety of the appetizers, coupled with the strangeness of the movie, may have caused some digestive turbulence.
