trees growing through buildings

This motel with an enormous palm tree growing through its lobby and its roof has always amused me. Perhaps I am easily amused. But in a general way I find that trees growing through buildings and rooftops is one of those small wonders that brings a lot of innocent joy. It deserves just a little bit more attention.
