The last stop in the ever so large state of Texas was Van Horn, another tiny town with another lovely "u-shaped" hotel. This one, the Hotel El Capitan, was very similar to Marfa's El Paisano; both in fact were designed by the architect Henry Trost. This one we actually stayed at, dined at, played Bananagrams at...
In the end, it's hard to argue with courtyards and a fountains...
