Berkeley and the end...

Okay folks... our trip ends in Berkeley, where I deposited Kate at her friend Peggy's.

After saying our good byes, I drove off into the sunset, which gave this already striking building a very nice glow...
Turning west toward the bay, I saw a lot of stuff that looked like this...

and this...
and this...

Until finally, turning south on the freeway, it was possible to see a little bit of the San Francisco skyline in the distance...

...and I cried a little, because it had been such a great trip.
