home at last

We reached our goal of the Salinas Valley some 25 days before the writing of this blog. What with returning the rental car, unwinding from our travels, giving Kate a tour of the area, and eventually going back to work, our days were full. It was a very good time. While other parts of the country were in the grips of winter, we were blessed with day after day after day of sunshine... (as seen from my patio above).
