Sometimes letterbox clues are as vague as "by the big rock", "near to the shrub", and "behind the sign". Such was the case in Lee Vining. The first day we tried to find it, we gave up. But then that night Kate had a dream about finding it that reignited our interest. The next day, as we were driving back from the tufa formations, I saw the area from a different angle and was seized with an intuition. I pulled the car over, ran into the brush, and let my gut lead me directly to it.
