As one rolls down highway 120, away from the mountains, there is this wonderful glimpse of Mono Lake and the high desert.
No sooner does one see Mono Lake for the first time in their life than one runs into something called the Tioga Gas Mart & Whoa Nellie Deli, a true oddity -- a service station with a view, and the best food in town.
