Sometimes you pay a visit to one of the nation's oldest children's libraries, the
Robert Bacon Memorial Library in Westbury, NY, which dates back to 1924.
Sometimes, when you are there, you chance upon the book
Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes,
and you are
spiritually uplifted by it.

ReplyDeleteI have good memories of both libraries. The first time I ever used a photo copy machine was at the adult library next door. That must have been in the 70's! I love that memory...
