
Sometimes you go to where your
other grandparents lived, a place called
Mill Neck, and you realize that
all of your grandparents lived near the water, whereas you are by comparison somewhat of a landlubber.

You also realize that a place called
Bayville Beach, where as a child you played games in the arcade, is barely a mile or two from where your grandparents lived... and it took you your whole life to realize how close the two places were.


You also notice that the place where you used to play
miniature golf has been jazzed up considerably...

On the other hand, you notice that the view of
Long Island Sound and
Connecticut is much the same.

You also notice that the elementary school where you spent
ten years of your life appears much the same.
