more arboretum highlights

Among the many interesting vistas and specimens was this Australian oddball (below) called Banksia serrata...

    The Australian 'oddball' looks like some
    sort of creature/monster one would see on
    the show 'Sigmund and the Sea Monsters'
    (I think that was the name of the show).
    Or possibly a plant on "The Adams Family".
