Airport vortex

We also paid a visit to the Airport vortex, a short drive up a steep hill in the center of town. You can't tell from these photos, but the place was thronged. After finally finding a parking spot, we discovered a vast matrix of intersecting trails, crawling with hikers.
Somewhere I read that the twisted limbs of juniper trees reflect the spiral-shaped energy of a vortex. There were plenty of contorted junipers to be seen...
...in addition to this spectacular view of the city.
