Our route to the desert went through the Tehachapi Pass, which is full of wind turbines. I have seen many of these over the years but don't ever recall seeing the blades on trucks as they appeared here outside the town of Mojave. I have since learned that there is a special science to transporting these large, aerodynamically sensitive objects.
