the day that changed the year

 

It was March 25 that my Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer - an event that cast a shadow over the entire year and beyond. Life continued after that day, and this blog will continue, but few words can capture the magnitude of the loss that events so rapidly brought us.  Her life was worth more than a hundred and fifty thousand blogs. Still, she enjoyed reading this blog, and may have been its number one follower. Therefore, it is above all in her honor that I continue. Maybe somehow, somewhere, she is able to read it. If you are out there Mom, do know that I will never forget how you enjoyed interesting ideas, a good book, and a good laugh.
