Since it is difficult enough to find a new place in the light, it goes without saying that the challenge is increased in the dark. As the sun set so beautifully on Death Valley, we set out to find a tiny dot in the desert called Tecopa, where our next destination, Tecopa Hot Springs, was located.
The only place to eat for miles was The Famous Crowbar Cafe & Saloon, located in the tiny nearby town of Shoshone. We had trout in the desert and it wasn't half bad.
My least favorite experience of the trip - arriving in the dark! Thank goodness the food was better than expected!
