The existence of the Audubon Insectarium had come to my attention on previous visits to New Orleans, so this time we made a point of visiting it. I had imagined a very serious institution geared toward professional entomologists, but was pleasantly surprised to discover a fun, multidimensional museum for everyone from children to professionals and everyone in between.
