Due to heavy cloud cover there wasn't much volcano to see at Poas Volcano National Park. The highlight however was this plant with strikingly huge leaves called poor man's umbrella - Gunnera insignis. In Costa Rica these leaves really do serve as umbrellas for those in need. Not surprisingly it is also the country's largest native plant.
