Said to be the largest pool of its kind in Central America, and I did not mind swimming in it. Even so, the tropical heat here was the strongest and most punishing of the trip, bringing on a bout of heat illness. Not too surprising since we were only eight degrees north of the equator.
I certainly wouldn't have minded lounging by this pool after being out in the heat today in Louisiana.
