The first stop was Davis, a completely pleasant surprise... We were driving east on the I-80 when it simply presented itself with its abundance of dining opportunities... I had long wanted to see Davis, the epicenter of the UC cooperative extension (what Cornell is to NY, Davis is to CA)... After wandering the streets for a bit we decided to take lunch at Bistro 33, housed in the former city hall.
This is what we ate -- some sort of olive-bean dip, bread and a salad.
