Like the mysterious Marfa lights, the tiny city of Marfa is an anomaly. Our first impression upon arrival was that it is not a place where people eat and sleep, but rather drink beer, make films, and design things.

That's the restaurant I was telling you about, with the red doors: Maiyas or whatever it's called. We thought the food was excellent. Your description of Marfa is spot on. It's a Texan wormhole that leads to SOHO.

ReplyDeleteWe drove to the viewing station and while the stars were amazing, it was freezing and the anomalous lights we saw were not the ML's.
