I loved the way this road, Utah State Route 9, was reddish-pink, matching the rocks around it. It's very rare to find color-coordinated roads, so when you do find them you need to savor them. This scenery was still within the boundaries of Zion National Park.
That pink-topped road was definitely part of the scenic experience.
